Beatty Park Redevelopment

BEATTY PARK AQUATIC CENTRE, LEEDERVILLE WA

The Beatty Park Aquatic Centre underwent refurbishment which comprised of a new 50m, 10-lane outdoor pool, beginners pool and water polo pool. In addition, the project also featured a new gymnasium and aerobics area over two levels, a new entry statement, administration area, café, kitchen, crèche facilities and staff facilities.

The team also undertook major refurbishment to the existing change rooms, the indoor 25m and leisure pool and the pool’s associated plant room and concourse works.

 

 

Karratha Leisureplex

KARRATHA LEISUREPLEX, WA

This major complex incorporates function and meeting rooms, café, separate gallery and office tenancies, indoor gymnasium and 3 court sports hall, outdoor aquatic complex with 50 metre pool, leisure pool, splashpad and squash courts. This facility was designed for a wide range of community uses, including pre-school and parent groups, high school groups from the adjoining Karratha High School, music and drama, and possible convention usage

 

Hornsby Aquatic Centre

HORNSBY AQUATIC CENTRE, NSW

Complete replacement of the original aquatic centre set between bushland and heritage civic park, the new centre incorporates an outdoor 50m pool with boom and grand stand, 25m indoor learn to swim / program pool, leisure pool with spa bench; water features and splash pool, all suspended over a 110 car park and plant rooms. Energy efficiency measures include fully insulated pool basins, co-generation plant and overall 30% lower energy consumption than a comparable centre.

 

WA Basketball Centre

WA BASKETBALL CENTRE, WA

State of the art basketball facility incorporating a show court with a six-court practice hall, public foyers that give access to all areas, offices, café, reception and change rooms on the ground floor, with a raised function room and bar to level 1.

This project was completed in joint venture with Jackson Architecture.

The WA Basketball Centre was the recipient of the AIA Public Architecture Award; AIA Colorbond Steel Award and the MBA Construction Award.

 

 

Aquamotion

AQUAMOTION AQUATIC CENTRE, WANNEROO WA

The newly upgraded facility boasts a state of the art gym and fitness centre, a 1.8 metre-deep heated outdoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, outdoor children’s splash pad and an upgraded spa and sauna area. The existing 25-metre heated lap and leisure pools have been revamped with new UV and ultra-fine filtration systems.

Upgrades also include the addition of a café with a courtyard that overlooks the deep pool and children’s splash pad, upgrades to the existing reception area and change rooms and a larger crèche facility.
