Cockburn Central Police Station

The new Cockburn Central Police Station accommodates 200 officers in District Management, Local Policing and Response Teams. The facility includes short-term custodial facilities, Sally Port, a detainee processing area, two cells, interview rooms and a public reception/waiting area. Officers are afforded access to the most up-to-date armoury, and special equipment rooms, a gym, change rooms and modern staff facilities.  The station has 46 parking bays located within a compact rear compound, concealed from the public using face brick perimeter walls, which are used as a back drop for public art on the main street facade.

The new Perth Police Complex is a community accessible Police facility providing a high level of service to the city which is coupled with a secure custodial facility and Magistrates Court, all co-located in a technically advanced building complex which fits into the James / Fitzgerald / Roe Street edge of the Northbridge precinct.

The complex contains the Perth Police Station, the Central Metropolitan District Office, the brand new Perth Watch House and the Northbridge Magistrate’s Court, as well as specialist units including the District Crime Team, Central Metropolitan Detectives, Traffic Unit, District Forensic Investigation Office, Crime and Intelligence Coordination Unit, Family Protection Unit and Community Policing Unit.

This project was an architectural joint venture with Jackson Architecture and Guymer Bailey Architects.

 

 

 

WA Police Midland Operations Support Facility

Midland Operations Support Facility Stage 2

The heritage-listed 1910 Midland Railway was converted into a “building within a building” providing an exciting state of the art modern office complex for the WA Police State Traffic Operations, accommodating 350 police personnel.

This project was completed in joint venture with Jackson Architecture.

This project was the recipient of Australian Institute of Architects Design Award and Heritage Award, MBA Construction Award and WA Heritage Council Gerry Gauntlett Award for Excellence in Adaptive Reuse.

 

WA Police Academy

Western Australia Police Academy

The Western Australia Police Academy is a world-class training facility encompassing state-of-the-art facilities such as a scenario-training village and court room where police officers can put classroom theory into practice with simulated real-life situations. The village features retail outlets, banking facilities, a fast food outlet, service station, housing and a police station.

Modern accommodation facilities for in-service training personnel and catering allows local, national and international guests the opportunity to maximise their learning environment.

The Academy also provides a wide range of both operational and management training to the broader workforce within the Western Australia Police. The world class facility attracts other government agencies, law enforcement, regulatory and emergency service organisations.

Recipient of the 2002 George Temple Poole Award for outstanding achievement in Architecture and RAIA Architecture Award Institutional Category.

 

Albany Police & Justice Complex

Albany Justice & Great Southern Police Complex

Collocation of the Albany District Justice Courts and new West Australia Police facility, encompassing all requirements of general policing, detectives, forensic and administration of this WA Police District Office and Court complex providing two magistrate’s courts with administration facilities, judicial facilities and administration for Community Justice Services.
