Kalgoorlie Health Campus Redevelopment

Redevelopment of the existing Kalgoorlie Hospital site in the following phases in 3 phases.

The works included Palliative care facility and electrical infrastructure upgrade; Emergency Department with acute care facilities and medical imaging department; and Outpatients department, cancer centre, allied health, medical records and staff amenities.

 

Wanneroo GP Clinic

ECU Wanneroo GP Superclinic

The new ECU GP Superclinic is a 3 storey clinic building, medical clinic, pharmacy, consultancy offices, general office space and basemen carpark The design includes a large centre core foyer with adjacent main reception counter and administration facilities overlooking waiting areas. The ground floor contains multi-disciplinary consult / exam rooms arranged around the central procedure and treatment facilities with additional consult / exam rooms for allied health practitioners served by an additional sub wait. The first floor provides allied health consult rooms for physiotherapy, oral health and speech therapy

 

 

Albany Health Campus

Albany Health Campus Redevelopment

New hospital with the following facilities: emergency department and high dependency unit, two inpatient units, maternity ward, inpatient and community mental health, ambulatory care (chemotherapy, renal dialysis, allied health and specialist clinics), surgical services centre, CSSD, medical imaging, pathology, pharmacy, morgue, entry/admissions, medical records, administration and medical offices, food and linen services, supply and stores, central energy plant.

Project completed in joint venture with STH Architects.

Joondalup Health Campus

Joondalup Health Campus

Joondalup Health Campus expansion provides new facilities for public and private patients. The new facilities expand the range and breadth of clinical services offered at Joondalup, to included 451 additional public beds, new emergency department, expanded special care nursery, St John Ambulance depot, 12 new operating theatres and an expanded critical care unit.

This project was completed in joint venture with STH Architects Perth.

 

Ear Science

Ear Science Institute

The new corporate headquarters for the Ear Science Institute incorporates head offices, laboratory, medical consulting suites and a day surgery. The project also included the refurbishment of the St Joseph’s Presbytery located on the same site.

Peter Hunt Architect was commissioned to provide a concept design, feasibility study and full service to redevelop the existing church-owned property into a new medical facility for the Ear Science Institute Australia (‘ESIA’) whilst incorporating alterations, additions and restoration of the existing adjacent Presbytery.  The new ESIA facility provides accommodation for 2 day surgeries, medical research facilities, administrative offices, medical suites, new audiology booths, boardroom and meeting rooms, 60 car-basement parking with underground link to existing restored Presbytery.
